Achieving Your Goals With 5 Proven Steps

By April Ladrey

Setting goals gives you short-term and long-term motivation. Having well thought out goals helps you set focus on the acquisition of required knowledge and helps you to plan and organize your resources and your time so that you can get the best out of your life. The basics of goal setting will involve deciding what you really want to do with your personal life and what short term and long term goals you need to achieve it.

These are just a few points to keep in mind when you begin to set your goals:

1. A very important point is your attitude. Can you tell if it is holding you back? Is it limiting you and keeping you from achieving what you want? When problems arise in your life, how have you handled them? Take a good look at yourself and decide that from now on you will look for solutions rather than excuses.

2. Good time management is another skill you need to develop for successful goal setting. Failing with a goal can often be attributed to bad time management. Time management is a skill that needs to be developed and will not happen overnight.

3. Education is key in achieving your goals. If your goals require you to have a certain kind of degree or require a certain specialization or demand a certain skill to be developed, make plans in getting the appropriate education.

4. Your goals are going to be important to your closest family and friends. You will need their support to succeed and you need to let them know you expect their support. Achieving your goals will effect them in some ways, so it is only right that you let them know what your plans are.

5. A plan is the last step in the basics of goal setting. This plan should at first be a 5 or 10 year plan and then broken down into smaller time frames. Break it down into years, then months, and then weeks. Use it as a guide and break down your goals into smaller goals. This will help keep you motivated as you move along to your biggest goal.

These five steps will lead you to the point where you can now take action! Action is what will actually get you to where you want to go. Make a nightly list of what you want to accomplish the next day that corresponds to your plan. Review your lists daily and weekly, and set a time where you consistently review where you are at. Tweak what you need to. Make goal setting a habit and you will achieve anything you put your mind to!

Discover The 4 P's of Internet Marketing Mix

By Richard Lee

Traditionally the marketing mix is co-ordinated so efficient product, price, promotion and place strategies are developed for products purchased over the counter. The internet is changing the way we sell our products and services. That's a fact. Consumers now use the internet to research and purchase products/services online. Organization now needs online strategies to attract and retain customers. The e-marketing mix considers the elements of presenting the marketing mix online.

Online, this immediate tangibility disappears. But, is that a disadvantage? E-commerce sales are increasing at extremely high rates. Why? What does buying products online offer over one to one sales? Firstly there are clear online facts about the product you are purchasing. The buyer knows immediately about product features, the facts, not sales persons assumptions. Electrical store offers clear information on products and their specification, consumers know what they get if not there is a customer service number where they can find out more. The buying process is also customized for returning visitors, making repeat purchases easier. Organizations can also offer immediately ancillary products along with the main purchase. As mentioned in marketing mix section, pricing is always difficult to do and must take into account many considerations.

Traditionally pricing was about finding about your costs, discovering how much consumers are willing to pay, taking account competition pricing then setting your price. The internet has made pricing very competitive. Many costs i.e. store costs, staff cost have disappeared for complete online stores, placing price pressures on traditional retailers. The internet gives consumers the power to shop around for the best deal at a click of a button. Such easy access to information helps to maintain prices within the online world.

E-pricing can also easily reward loyal customers. Technology allows repeat visitors to be tracked, easily allowing loyalty incentives to be targeted towards them. Payment is also easy online credit cards use allows for easy payments. One of the biggest changes to the marketing mix is online purchasing. Consumers can purchase direct from manufacturers cutting out retailers totally. The challenge for online retailers is to insure that the product is delivered to the consumer within a reasonable time. Location is important within our place strategy.

Online location can refer to where links are placed on other websites. Promoting products and service online is concerned with a number of issues. Having a recognizable domain name is first stage towards e-promotion. Most organizations today have some form of webpage used in most if not all advertisements. Placing banner advertisements on other web pages is a common form of e-promotion. Banner ads must be placed where potential customers browse. Web public relations are another approach to promoting online. News worthy stories based on product or service launches can be placed on the company's webpage, or WPR articles sent to review sites for consumers to read. Hopefully this form of online promotion will pull the consumer in. Direct email is a popular and common form of e-promotions, although slowly becoming the most hated my many consumers. Organizations can send e-leaflets to hundreds and thousands of respondents, hoping a small percentage will reply.

To summaries e-promotion includes: Banner promotion, Web public relations (WPR), E-leaflets and having a domain name. The e-marketing mix must work together and support each other if the company is to have a successful online marketing strategy.

Pay Per Click Internet Marketing: 6 Steps to Succeed.

By Asem Eltaher

It is really amazing that huge online business marketing handbooks fail to make a clear distinction between ppc ads and organic search engine optimization. Pay per click internet marketing is the placement of ads on the search results page under the title Sponsored Links for a specific keyword or keywords in return for a specified payment, called ppc bid, when a visitor only clicks on your ad.

In contrast to pay per click internet marketing, search engine optimization (SEO) refers to the process of modifying and marketing a website for top search engine position. It is a set of methodologies aimed at improving the visibility of a website in the organic results obtained when a user surfs the internet for some information.

Here is Your Chance to Learn 6 Key Factors to Succeed!

1. The first key to succeed in online marketing is to invest a reasonable time and effort to choose good keywords, which do not involve high competition and at the same time searched by the users in often enough. Otherwise, without ppc optimization, your business marketing campaign will be too expensive to achieve any profits for you.

2. Your second key element is to periodically enrich your pay per click internet marketing campaign with quite huge list of keywords and the sky is your limit. Be careful, do not do it like crazy! Here again, choose the keywords that enjoy decent demand and do not suffer form high competition.

3. The third element in your campaign to drive targeted traffic to your website is to properly choose the text of your ad. This alone can either skyrocket your sales, or simply destroy all your efforts. Make the objective of your ad quite clear and as much specific as usual so that only targeted visitors would click your ad.

4. The fourth essential key to conduct an effective pay per click internet marketing is to monitor your ppc bid. It is very important that you bear in mind that the results of the top search engines providing online advertising, which are Overture and Adwords, usually appear on other popular search engines.

5. Your fifth key factor to succeed is really significant to see quick results. In deed, it is necessary to monitor your cost per click but it is not sufficient. Adding to this, you need to monitor and analyze the behavior of your website visitors to see when and where they quit your website. This helps to get the best benefits from your cost per click.

6. This key factor to sky rocket your success in pay per click internet marketing is not to pay a cost per click any more than you really have to. For example, I often see situations where the top bid is $1.20 and the second highest bid is $0.75. The guy that is bidding $1.20 in such a situation must be loaded with money, since he could achieve the same top ranking with a mere $0.76 per click. I know, 44 cents isn't a lot of money, but if dozens or even hundreds of people click on the listing each day, it adds up pretty fast.
